The denomination '100 ԴՐԱՄ' and the date '1995' are inscribed in two lines below the coat of arms in the lower field. The design is executed in high relief against a mirror-polished proof field.

Armenia's admission came at a moment when the country was simultaneously fighting a war in Nagorno-Karabakh and managing a near-total economic blockade from Turkey and Azerbaijan.
