备注	Antigua and Barbuda gained full independence from Britain on 1 November 1981, and this note was issued in direct commemoration of that event. At the time, the Eastern Caribbean Currency Authority — not any individual island government — held monetary authority over Antigua; the "Government of Antigua and Barbuda" attribution here is a sovereignty statement as much as a legal one. These were never intended for circulation. D'Estrehan's involvement in several Caribbean commemorative issues of this period was consistent — the sailing ship theme tied deliberately to the island's colonial maritime past and its annual Sailing Week, by then already an internationally recognized regatta.
