| 备注 |
This is the second issue of the Bank of Japan's 10 Yen note, produced during Japan's economic expansion accelerated by World War One — a period when European demand for Japanese manufactured goods drove significant growth and placed real pressure on the currency supply. The Cabinet Printing Bureau, operating under the Finance Ministry rather than the Bank of Japan itself, handled production throughout this series.
P#36 is notably scarcer than its successor issues, partly because the volume printed was relatively modest and partly because circulated examples suffered badly from Japan's humid climate, which is hard on cotton-based paper.
