| Opis awersu | Central field features the official ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 logo in high relief, rendered as a stylised composition of cricket players in dynamic batting and fielding poses interwoven with abstract flame-like forms. A trademark symbol appears at the lower right of the logo. The legend 'ICC Cricket World Cup Bangladesh 2011' is inscribed in two lines across the lower field in italic Latin lettering. The design is framed by a finely toothed inner border running the full circumference. |

| Dodatkowe informacje |
Bangladesh hosted the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup jointly with India and Sri Lanka — the first time the tournament visited the subcontinent since 1996. For Bangladesh, co-hosting was a significant institutional moment; the national team had only gained Test status in 2000 and had spent much of the intervening decade establishing credibility against established cricketing nations. This commemorative was issued ahead of the tournament, which ran from February to April, with the final held at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.
