The composition evokes the famous bathing scenes at Pinnawala. Surrounding the central motif, the district name appears in three scripts along the upper arc — Tamil (கேகாலை) at left, Sinhala (කෑගල්ල) at centre, and Latin (Kegalle) at right. The date 2013 is inscribed in the lower exergue. The entire design is enclosed within a raised circular border fitted to the hendecagonal flan. |
