Arching across the upper portion of the coin, a curved Arabic legend reads 'الجمهورية العربية المتحدة' (United Arab Republic), while the denomination 'قروش' (Piastres) appears immediately below the numeral. A further Arabic inscription along the lower periphery reads 'سوق القاهرة الدولية' (Cairo International Fair). The design is executed in a clean, modern relief style with a fine beaded border encircling the entire field. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse features the emblem of the Cairo International Fair as its central device: a stylised globe and anchor motif set within a heraldic shield, itself enclosed within a partial cogwheel or gear-wheel border symbolising industry. Ornate arabesque scrollwork flanks the central emblem at the lower left and right, lending a decorative quality to the composition. Below the emblem, a rectangular cartouche contains the dual dates '١٣٩١ / ١٩٧١' in Arabic-Indic numerals, representing the Hijri and Gregorian years respectively. A fine beaded border frames the entire reverse design. |
