The country name 'বাংলাদেশ' (Bangladesh) is inscribed in Bengali script along the upper arc, with the date '১৯৭৩' (1973) following immediately to its right. The denomination '১০' (10) appears in large Bengali numerals at the base of the central device, flanked by the words 'দশ' (Ten) to the left and 'পয়সা' (Poisha) to the right, all in Bengali script. Small decorative pellet motifs are placed symmetrically in the side fields. A rope-and-bead ornamental border follows the scalloped periphery of the coin.
