The denomination numeral "10" appears in red at each corner, while the issuer inscription "Stadt Pößneck" is printed in Gothic blackletter at the top centre. The value "Zehn Pfennige" is rendered in large, bold Gothic script dominating the centre, set over a fine multicolour guilloche underprint in red and green. Below the central text, authority lines read "Der Magistrat" and "Der Gemeinderat" with two manuscript facsimile signatures beneath. |

A central oval guilloche medallion contains the figure "10", flanked symmetrically by ornate rosette vignettes in an Art Nouveau style. The entire background is covered with a fine letterpress underprint repeating the text "STADTPOSSNECKS" in a diagonal trellis pattern. |
