The value "Zehn Pfennige" is rendered in large, bold Gothic script dominating the centre, set over a fine multicolour guilloche underprint in red and green. | Descrizione del rovescio | Printed entirely in olive-green on cream paper, the reverse carries the town name "Pößneck" in large Gothic script at the top and the denomination "Zehn Pfennige" in matching script at the bottom, with the numeral "10" at each corner. A central oval guilloche medallion contains the figure "10", flanked symmetrically by ornate rosette vignettes in an Art Nouveau style. The entire background is covered with a fine letterpress underprint repeating the text "STADTPOSSNECKS" in a diagonal trellis pattern. |
