| Obverse description | Cream-toned note with a green border strip along the top edge and an elaborate black ornamental frame of interlocking scrollwork enclosing the entire field. The denomination numeral "10" appears in red at each corner, while the issuer inscription "Stadt Pößneck" is printed in Gothic blackletter at the top centre. The value "Zehn Pfennige" is rendered in large, bold Gothic script dominating the centre, set over a fine multicolour guilloche underprint in red and green. Below the central text, authority lines read "Der Magistrat" and "Der Gemeinderat" with two manuscript facsimile signatures beneath. |
