| Description du revers | The reverse is printed entirely in orange-brown on cream paper and centers on a circular vignette of the Mexican national coat of arms — an eagle perched on a cactus with a serpent in its beak, surrounded by a laurel wreath — enclosed within a beaded medallion. Large numeral '10' counters in guilloche rosettes occupy the left and right fields, with elaborate scrollwork and lathe-work borders filling the remaining space. The bank name is split across two letterpress panels, 'BANCO DEL' at the top and 'ESTADO DE CHIHUAHUA' at the foot, with the printer's imprint 'AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY, NEW YORK.' at the very bottom. |
