Encircling the beaded border, the revolutionary motto reading 'Freedom, Equality, Justice' in Arabic script is arranged around the periphery, flanked by a conjoined olive branch and wheat sheaf — emblems of the Committee of Union and Progress adopted after the Young Turk Revolution of 1908. |
