Additional information

Estonia's 10 Marka of 1926 was struck during the country's first decade of independence, when the marka had already been badly eroded by postwar inflation. Within two years of this coin's minting, Estonia replaced the entire marka system with the kroon at a rate of 100 marka to 1 kroon, making this issue one of the last circulations of the denomination before it was retired entirely in 1928.
