At the top, the heading 'Gutschein der Markt-Verwaltung Peuerbach.' appears in Gothic script above a double rule. The denomination 'Zehn Heller.' is printed in large decorative blackletter script at centre, followed by a validity clause in Roman type stating the notes are redeemable in legal currency until 31 December 1920. Below, the issuer name 'Markt-Verwaltung Peuerbach.' is repeated in bold, with the three signatories and their titles arranged in a row at the foot.
