These are primarily sold through Asian distribution networks rather than through domestic French retail channels.
The Dragon year recurs on a 12-year cycle; the 2024 Gregorian year technically inaugurated this particular cycle on January 22nd, making the 2023 mint date a pre-issue convention common to European mints striking lunar series for the following calendar year's market.
