A broad diagonal band sweeps across the centre of the field, bearing two curved legends: 'DEN SAMISKA KULTUREN' (Swedish for 'The Sami Culture') on the outer arc and 'SAAMELAISKULTTUURII' (Finnish) on the inner arc. Within the lower portion of the band, the Northern Sami phrase 'MIN ÁRBI' ('My Heritage') is prominently inscribed in bold lettering above the date '2018'.
