A large circular disc, representing the sun, is depicted in the upper right portion of the field, rendered in a stylised, flat manner consistent with contemporary Nordic design. Two diagonal lines converge across the lower field, framing rows of wave-like and tent-shaped geometric elements suggestive of Sami cultural symbols. The legend 'SUOMI FINLAND' appears in two lines to the left of centre, with the denomination '10 €' to its right in the lower field. |

| Popis rubu | The reverse presents an abstract composition of angular, rhombus-shaped and linear elements scattered across the upper field, evoking traditional Sami handicraft and jewellery motifs known as duodji. A broad diagonal band sweeps across the centre of the field, bearing two curved legends: 'DEN SAMISKA KULTUREN' (Swedish for 'The Sami Culture') on the outer arc and 'SAAMELAISKULTTUURII' (Finnish) on the inner arc.
