Behind the bird, a radiant sun disc emits bold rays extending toward the upper rim, evoking renewal and hope. Flanking the central motif on either side are vertical staffs bearing flags, with soldiers faintly visible in the background, referencing the military context of the armistice. The commemorative dates '1945' and '2005' are incused to the left and right of the phoenix respectively, marking the sixtieth anniversary of the end of the Second World War. |
