| Obverse description | The obverse is divided vertically into two contrasting fields. The left half features a relief map of the European Union with country outlines rendered in fine detail against a frosted background. The right half displays a polished mirror field bearing the denomination '10 EURO' in bold incuse lettering, encircled by twelve five-pointed stars arranged in the arc of the European Union emblem. The trilingual legend 'BELGIQUE BELGIE BELGIEN' runs along the outer border, with the engraver's initials 'qp' appearing in the lower right field. |

Flanking the central motif on either side are vertical staffs bearing flags, with soldiers faintly visible in the background, referencing the military context of the armistice.
