正面描述	The obverse features the coat of arms of Sierra Leone prominently displayed in the centre of the field, depicting two lions rampant as supporters flanking a shield charged with three torches, with two palm trees rising behind the shield. A ribbon scroll below the shield bears the national motto UNITY FREEDOM JUSTICE. The circular legend REPUBLIC OF SIERRA LEONE arcs along the upper periphery, while the date 2009 appears in the lower field. The Pobjoy Mint privy mark (PM) is struck to the lower left of the arms.

背面描述	The reverse presents a dynamic commemorative composition celebrating the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. A tall First Nations totem pole dominates the centre of the field, flanked on the left by a downhill skier in full racing posture and on the right by a speed skater leaning into a turn. Architectural renderings of Vancouver venues occupy the lower field on either side of the totem pole base. The date 20 10 is incorporated into the design at centre below, with the denomination TEN DOLLARS inscribed along the lower border and the legend OLYMPIC • VANCOUVER arcing along the upper periphery.
