A tall First Nations totem pole dominates the centre of the field, flanked on the left by a downhill skier in full racing posture and on the right by a speed skater leaning into a turn. Architectural renderings of Vancouver venues occupy the lower field on either side of the totem pole base. The date 20 10 is incorporated into the design at centre below, with the denomination TEN DOLLARS inscribed along the lower border and the legend OLYMPIC • VANCOUVER arcing along the upper periphery. |
