| 背面描述 | The reverse, produced in color enamel over a mirror-polished silver field, commemorates the handover of Hong Kong to China on 1 July 1997. The upper section depicts the facade of a prominent official building adorned with the Chinese national emblem — a red banner bearing a yellow five-pointed star — rendered in polychrome enamel. To the upper right, a framed portrait relief of Deng Xiaoping is shown in right-facing profile. Colorful enamel floral motifs, including a red peony and a pink bauhinia flower, embellish the central band, beneath which a bilingual Chinese inscription records the date and occasion. The lower half of the reverse features a detailed relief panorama of the Hong Kong skyline with its characteristic skyscrapers set against a harbour scene. |
