At left center, an oval vignette contains the provincial coat of arms of San Juan; the heading PROVINCIA DE SAN JUAN runs across the top within a decorative border, with the denomination DIEZ CENTAVOS in large bold script at center and the series and serial number printed in red at upper right. The text LA PROVINCIA DE SAN JUAN PAGARÁ AL PORTADOR appears as the promise-to-pay legend, and a circular red treasury control stamp is struck at center. The signatures of the Contador General and the Ministro de Hacienda appear in manuscript at lower center. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Printed entirely in brown on plain paper, the reverse is dominated by an elaborate guilloche lattice border with rosette cornerpieces and the denomination numeral 10 repeated in each corner within ornate cartouches. A central rectangular panel framed by intricate lathe-work carries the full text of the relevant article of the Ley of 17 January 1898 governing the redemption and withdrawal of these treasury letters. The diagonal legend LETRA DE TESORERÍA runs along the lower right border, and PROVINCIA DE SAN JUAN along the upper left border, both set within guilloche bands. |
