| Obverse description | Brown and cream letter-press note issued as a Letra de Tesorería under the Ley of 17 January 1898. At left center, an oval vignette contains the provincial coat of arms of San Juan; the heading PROVINCIA DE SAN JUAN runs across the top within a decorative border, with the denomination DIEZ CENTAVOS in large bold script at center and the series and serial number printed in red at upper right. The text LA PROVINCIA DE SAN JUAN PAGARÁ AL PORTADOR appears as the promise-to-pay legend, and a circular red treasury control stamp is struck at center. The signatures of the Contador General and the Ministro de Hacienda appear in manuscript at lower center. |
