| Additional information |
The Min Kingdom, centered in Fujian province, was one of the Ten Kingdoms that fragmented China following the collapse of the Tang dynasty. Its monetary output in iron rather than bronze reflects both the chronic copper shortages endemic to Fujian and the kingdom's commercial isolation from the northern states. Min collapsed in 945 when the Southern Tang invaded and absorbed the territory, making the entire reign of Yonglong — the era name of Wang Yanzheng — a window of just a few years before the kingdom ceased to exist entirely.
