Obverse description Laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in archaic Greek style with finely detailed wreath of laurel leaves encircling the hair. The beard is rendered with short, curling strands, and the facial features display the characteristic idealized portraiture of late Classical Mysian coinage. The flan is irregular and the relief moderate, consistent with provincial bronze issues of the period.

Reverse description Youthful head of Dionysos facing right, with hair arranged in bound tresses and a cluster of ivy berries or dots visible near the temple. The abbreviated ethnic legend AYTOKA is distributed around the field in Greek characters, identifying the issuing city of Autokane in Mysia. The style is consistent with late Classical Greek civic bronze coinage of northwestern Asia Minor.
