SEPTEMBER 1923" appear in a rectangular cartouche at the foot, and a six-digit serial number is printed in the upper left corner. |

At centre, a circular vignette contains the Prussian eagle, encircled by the legend "MARK 10000000 STADT DORTMUND", flanked symmetrically by two stylised eagle motifs in an Art Deco arrangement. A three-line authorisation text in German at the foot references the Reichsminister der Finanzen and the Reichsgesetz of 17 July 1923, with a note that the Schein becomes invalid one month after public recall. |
