| Obverse description | Central device featuring two confronted dragons coiling dynamically within a beaded inner circle, their scaled bodies intertwined in the field. The surrounding legend in Chinese characters reads 大朝鮮 開國四百九十五年 (Great Joseon, founded 495 years ago), flanking the central motif at left and right. At the lower portion of the coin, between the beaded border and the inner circle, the Latin inscription 416•1 WARN•900 is incused, indicating weight, denomination, and fineness. The entire design is enclosed within a bold beaded outer border. |
