Obverse description Draped bust of a ruler facing right, rendered in a stylized, late antique manner characteristic of Lombard-period coinage. The effigy displays a diademed or helmeted head with visible facial features, surrounded by a beaded border. A partial Latin legend runs around the periphery, reading [...] NI - VIHOVS, the letters unevenly spaced and partially degenerate, reflecting local workshop execution. The bust is depicted with simplified drapery at the shoulder, consistent with pseudo-imperial tremissis iconography of the period.
