توضیحات روی سکه A mythological Hamsa bird (sacred goose of Hindu-Buddhist tradition) depicted in left profile, rendered in highly stylized Khmer artistic style with elaborate scaled plumage, ornate crested head, and dramatically swept decorative tail feathers filling the right field. Khmer script legends arranged around the periphery of the field, with additional inscriptions occupying the upper portion of the design. اطلاعات تکمیلی

This piece belongs to a small group of pattern issues prepared for Norodom I before his formal coronation — he was installed as king in 1860 under Franco-Siamese supervision, but pre-coronation coinage trials were conducted well before that date. Cambodia had no established modern mint tradition, and these patterns were almost certainly struck in France or by French-connected die cutters as part of early colonial monetary planning. White metal strikes of this type were standard proof-of-concept pieces, not intended for circulation. KM#PnA2 is among the earliest documented attempts to produce Western-format coinage for the Cambodian kingdom.
