| Opis rewersu | The reverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line funerary Latin inscription recording the biographical details of Duke Frederick VIII, stating his birth on 12 February 1597 and his death on 17 August 1625 at the age of 29 years, 6 months, and 5 days. The text is arranged in horizontal lines across the open field, enclosed within a beaded inner border. A circumferential Latin legend in capital letters runs along the outer border, continuing the commemorative funerary text. Small decorative floral or rosette stops punctuate the legend at intervals. |
