The figure holds a raised sword in the right hand and rests the left hand upon a shield bearing the arms of the Livonian Order — a cross with a small crosslet — placed at his feet. The figure is rendered in a bold, late-Gothic style typical of early sixteenth-century German-influenced die work. A beaded inner border frames the design, with the Latin legend distributed around the periphery in Gothic lettering. |

| Opis rewersu | Central design features a large ornate cross pattée, its arms decorated with foliate and scrollwork embellishments in a Renaissance style, occupying the majority of the coin's field. The date 1536 is inscribed above the cross within the inner decorative border. A beaded inner border separates the central motif from the surrounding Latin legend, which is inscribed in Gothic lettering and runs continuously around the periphery. The overall composition is characteristic of early Teutonic and Livonian Order coinage produced at the Reval Mint. |
