The rider wears a plumed helmet and full plate armor with elaborate surface decoration. The scene occupies the full field within a beaded inner circle. A Latin legend naming the three co-ruling counts — Gebhard, Johann Georg, and Peter Ernst — runs continuously around the periphery, separated by small ornamental stops. |

| Opis rewersu | Central device consisting of a large quartered and impaled heraldic achievement comprising the arms of the Mansfeld comital line, surmounted by two ornate crested helms with elaborate mantling in the Renaissance tradition. The date, here 1556, is inscribed in the lower portion of the field beneath the shield. A continuous Latin legend encircles the composition within a beaded border, identifying the issuers as counts and lords of Mansfeld. |
