| Description de l’avers | The eightfold quartered arms of the County of Stolberg displayed prominently in the center, surmounted by three elaborate crested helmets with ornate mantling. The date appears divided by the helmets or positioned in the lower field near the arms. A lengthy circumferential Latin legend names all six co-ruling counts of Stolberg, encircling the entire design field. The engraving is rendered in the robust Germanic Renaissance style characteristic of late sixteenth-century Harz region coinage. |

| Description du revers | A stag passant to the left, depicted naturalistically within a wreath or beaded inner border, serving as the principal heraldic charge and traditional symbol of the County of Stolberg. The continuation of the Latin titular legend of the six counts runs in the outer circumferential field, maintaining a consistent lettering style with the obverse. The stag is rendered with fine detail in the mane and antlers, occupying the full height of the inner field. The overall composition reflects the standard format of late sixteenth-century German territorial thaler coinage. |
