A lengthy circumferential Latin legend names all six co-ruling counts of Stolberg, encircling the entire design field. The engraving is rendered in the robust Germanic Renaissance style characteristic of late sixteenth-century Harz region coinage. |

The continuation of the Latin titular legend of the six counts runs in the outer circumferential field, maintaining a consistent lettering style with the obverse. The stag is rendered with fine detail in the mane and antlers, occupying the full height of the inner field. The overall composition reflects the standard format of late sixteenth-century German territorial thaler coinage. |
