| Obverse description | Bust of Pope Paul V (Camillo Borghese) facing right, depicted in pontifical vestments including a camauro and embroidered cope fastened at the chest, rendered in a bold, high-relief style characteristic of early seventeenth-century papal coinage. The effigy occupies the majority of the field, with fine detail in the drapery folds and facial features. A beaded inner border frames the design. The legend PAVLVS·V·BVRGH·PONT·MAX encircles the bust, with the date 1620 and the Ferrara mint mark F·R· appearing in the lower exergual area. |

| Reverse description | Saint George on horseback, armored and wearing a crown, lunging to the right as he thrusts a lance downward to slay the dragon prostrate beneath the horse's hooves. The composition is dynamic and highly detailed, with the rearing horse rendered in vigorous relief. A papal shield bearing the Borghese arms appears at the base of the design. A beaded inner border surrounds the central scene. The circumferential legend S·GEORGIVS·FER PARIÆ·PROTEC· identifies the patron saint and the city of Ferrara. |
