The entire composition is contained within a plain linear border following the square format of the flan. |

The upper register displays bold, deeply struck Arabic calligraphy in Naskh script, with the Kalima or royal epithet prominently rendered. The lower register contains further Arabic legends with the mint or additional titles of the sultan. The script exhibits the vigorous, slightly irregular character typical of hammered coinage of the Malwa Sultanate. |
