Reverse description Square hammered gold flan with characteristic clipped corners, the field again divided into two horizontal registers by a double line border. The upper register displays bold, deeply struck Arabic calligraphy in Naskh script, with the Kalima or royal epithet prominently rendered. The lower register contains further Arabic legends with the mint or additional titles of the sultan. The script exhibits the vigorous, slightly irregular character typical of hammered coinage of the Malwa Sultanate.
