| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field features a stylised royal umbrella (chhatri) as the principal device, symbolising the sovereignty of the Alwar ruler. A Persian legend in the centre names Maharajadharaj Maharav Raja Shri Sai Shivdan Singh Bahadur, the ruling prince of Alwar. To the left appears the mint name Zarb Raj Garh (struck at Rajgarh), and to the right the regnal year 15 in Eastern Arabic numerals. The legends are arranged in multiple registers around and below the umbrella device. The hammered flan exhibits the characteristic irregularity of princely Indian copper coinage of the nineteenth century. |
