The devices are struck in low relief consistent with hammered technique. A circular Latin legend in uncial script, reading mON : NO : TARPATEN, surrounds the central design, abbreviating Moneta Nova Darpatensis. The legend is enclosed within a beaded or plain border, consistent with the obverse treatment. |
