Obverse description Central fully-lined shield with flat corners bearing the arms of the Livonian Order, superimposed over a long cross whose arms extend to the inner beaded circle, dividing the surrounding circular legend into four sections. The shield displays the characteristic horizontal line pattern associated with this variety. The legend, rendered in Gothic lettering, is interrupted by the four arms of the cross and reads in abbreviated Latin referencing the Master's name and title. The overall design is characteristic of the hammered billon schillings struck under Hermann von Brüggeney-Hasenkamp, with an inner beaded border separating the central device from the marginal inscription.
