| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse field bears multiple lines of Persian-script (Nasta'liq) legend arranged horizontally across the flan, divided by a central horizontal line characteristic of Sikh Empire coinage struck in the name of the Guru Gobind Singh and the Khalsa. The upper register contains a portion of the Sikh invocation, while the lower register continues with the regal titles, all rendered in a bold, deeply struck hammered style typical of the Amritsar mint. The coin shows the irregular, slightly uneven flan shape inherent to the hand-hammered production technique. A crescent device is visible in the upper portion of the field. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse field is similarly filled with multiple horizontal lines of Persian-script (Nasta'liq) legend, presenting the mint name Amritsar and the Vikrami Samvat regnal year within the Sikh numismatic formula. The legends are arranged in three or four lines across the flan, divided by a ruled horizontal line, with the year numerals prominently displayed in the lower register. The hammered fabric results in a slightly irregular coin shape with softness at the peripheries. The overall design follows the established Mughal-derived typology adapted for Sikh imperial coinage under Maharaja Ranjit Singh. |
