| Reverse description | The reverse field is similarly filled with multiple horizontal lines of Persian-script (Nasta'liq) legend, presenting the mint name Amritsar and the Vikrami Samvat regnal year within the Sikh numismatic formula. The legends are arranged in three or four lines across the flan, divided by a ruled horizontal line, with the year numerals prominently displayed in the lower register. The hammered fabric results in a slightly irregular coin shape with softness at the peripheries. The overall design follows the established Mughal-derived typology adapted for Sikh imperial coinage under Maharaja Ranjit Singh. |
