| Popis rubu | The reverse displays a prominent square or cruciform geometric framework dividing the field into compartments, each containing segments of an Arabic inscription recording the mint name, regnal year, and the Hijri date. This characteristic quartered-square design, a hallmark of Afghan rupees of the Barakzai period, is rendered in bold relief against a flat field. The compartments contain the Kalima or additional royal titulature distributed across the divisions. The flan edges are irregular, consistent with hand-struck production at a local Afghan mint. |
