正面描述	Crowned effigy of King George VI facing left, wearing the Imperial State Crown, modelled by Percy Metcalfe whose initials 'PM' appear in the field below the truncation. The bare-necked portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail on the crown's arches, crosses, and jewelled band. The circumferential legend reads 'KING GEORGE THE SIXTH' arranged around the periphery, with the inscription divided on either side of the effigy. A beaded border frames the entire design.

附加信息	By 1950, Mauritius had been using a rupee-based currency system for well over a century, inherited from the period of East India Company influence and retained through successive British administrations. This copper-nickel issue was among the last to bear George VI's effigy — he died in February 1952, and the colonial mint program pivoted quickly to Elizabeth II types. The 1950–51 dates are the only years this specific KM#29 type was struck, making the run unusually short even by colonial issue standards.
