| 裏面の説明 | The reverse centers on a finely detailed representation of a Class Г goods-and-passenger steam locomotive, produced in England between 1860 and 1865 for the St. Petersburg–Warsaw Railroad, depicted in motion on rails against the facade of the historic Grodno Station building constructed in the early 1860s. The inscription 150 ГАДОЎ arcs above the locomotive in the upper-central field, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Belarusian Railroad. The circumferential legend БЕЛАРУСКАЯ ЧЫГУНКА runs along the upper periphery, flanked by decorative dot separators. |

Issued as part of Belarus's ongoing transportation commemorative program, this rouble marks the 150th anniversary of Belarusian railways, tracing back to the first line connecting Brest to Moscow through Minsk, completed in 1871. That corridor became strategically critical — twice over, in both World Wars, it served as a primary Wehrmacht and then Soviet supply axis, which is why Belarusian rail infrastructure was among the most heavily destroyed and rebuilt in all of Eastern Europe.
