| Descripción del anverso | Central field displays a large quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of Manderscheid, surmounted by an ornate crested helm with elaborate mantling extending to either side. The quartered arms incorporate multiple dynastic and ecclesiastical devices rendered in fine relief. A circular beaded inner border frames the composition, with the Latin legend distributed around the periphery. The overall design is characteristic of late sixteenth-century German Reichsthaler heraldic die-work, with strong, bold relief typical of hammered coinage of the period. |
