| Reverse description | The central design features the official emblem of Ain Shams University: a stylised obelisk topped by a radiant sun disc, flanked symmetrically by two facing falcon figures with spread wings, all set upon a rectangular base bearing the university name 'جامعة عين شمس' in Arabic script. Radiating beams of light emanate from the sun disc behind the obelisk. The legend 'العيد الفضي' (Silver Jubilee) is divided between the upper left and upper right fields in kufic-style script. The foundation and jubilee years '١٩٥٢-١٩٧٧' appear in the lower field, and the design is framed by a toothed inner rim. |
