| Obverse description | An intaglio-engraved oval vignette at left contains a left-facing portrait of King George VI set within an elaborate scrollwork cartouche surmounted by a royal crown and flanked by foliate sprays, all printed in dark blue on a green guilloche underprint with ornamental corner rosettes.
