| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central crowned shield bearing the arms of the City of Deventer, surrounded by an alternating arrangement of eight eagles and shields disposed in the manner of the Portuguese royal coat of arms, all contained within a beaded inner circle. The overall composition closely emulates the design tradition of the Portuguese Portugaloser gold coinage, adapted here for civic presentation purposes.
